Originally from Berlin but based in Taranaki, New Zealand for the love of the ocean and surf, I call both places home. Working in traditional goldsmith studios in different parts of the world is shaping my understanding of techniques and use of tools. As a jewellery designer, I am creating jewellery from scratch for one-off designs for engagement rings or wedding bands or my own collections that I sell through galleries and studios. Starting with a pen and paper, a piece of metal or a 3D design. Creating unique jewellery designs together with my clients, often including their gems and metals. You can also find my jewellery in galleries. The involvement with the arts here in New Zealand like the Taranaki Arts Trail and teaching traditional methods of goldsmithing has seen me share my workshop with the public. My jewellery can be found at Ringcraft Moana Jewellers in Oakura where I work 5 days a week. The Tait Gallery in Hanmer Springs in the South Island and Licorice Gallery in Opunake.
Running jewellery workshops for individuals and groups who would love to dive into the art of goldsmithing has been a fun journey.
